Evidence-based
When it comes to people, behaviour and motivation there’s a lot of advice flying around, often from people who have had little training or no training in what works and what doesn’t. Psychology is important because it identifies the evidence behindwhat works to improve performance, change behaviour and improve wellbeing – and what doesn’t.
Authentic
I encourage people to make changes based on an in-depth and objective understanding of their own strengths, values and personality preferences. By starting with what people already do well, we make change that feels authentic and which lasts.
Remarkable
(That’s remark-able). I want people to have experiences with The Career Psychologist that are worth talking about over watercoolers.
Meaningful
Somewhere out there’s a rocking chair with my name on it. If I can’t look back knowing I made a practical, tangible difference to my clients, then what’s the point?
