Mick specialises in helping clients to find direction, achieve career goals and navigate challenges without being held back by personal and organisational issues.
He has been coaching since 2010 following a career consulting to international development organisations, multinational corporations, third sector organisations, and local SME businesses. In addition to coaching Mick delivers workplace wellbeing, leadership and psychological skills training services to businesses and organisations across the UK, Africa and the Middle East.
Mick is passionate about improving wellbeing and preventing burnout through psychological skills training. He is competent to work discreetly and sensitively with anyone who has previously experienced psychological health issues such as depression, anxiety or burnout at work.
Indeed, as someone who successfully changed career in his 40s, Mick is particularly keen to work with anyone who might be struggling with mid-career change or lack of direction.
Mick is a certified coach and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the BPS Special Group in Coaching Psychology. He has been published on the use of mindfulness in professional development training and was awarded the Australian Psychological Society Prize for excellence in 2013-14.
He is currently completing a doctorate in counselling psychology at City, University of London.
