Dr Mick Darby (CPsychol) specialises in helping clients to find direction, achieve career goals and navigate challenges without being held back by personal and organisational issues.
Mick has been coaching since 2010 following a career consulting to international development organisations, multinational corporations, third sector organisations, and SMEs. He works confidentially with entrepreneurs and senior executives based across UK, Ireland and EMEA.
Mick is passionate about improving wellbeing and preventing burnout. In addition to coaching he delivers workplace resilience and psychological skills training services to teams and organisations.
As a HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist he is competent to work discreetly and sensitively with anyone who has experienced psychological health issues such as depression, anxiety or burnout at work. Indeed, as someone who successfully changed career in his 40s, Mick is particularly keen to work with anyone who might be struggling with mid-career change, work performance or direction.
Mick is a Chartered Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). He is a certified coach and member of the BPS Special Group in Coaching Psychology. He has been published on the use of mindfulness in professional development training and was awarded the Australian Psychological Society Prize for excellence in 2013-14. Mick gained his doctorate in Psychology (DPsych) at City, University of London.
